Vitaflor Elderflower 40g is a bulk infusion of elderflower (Sambucus nigra L).
Native to Europe, black elderberry grows in woods, hedges and uncultivated land in most temperate regions. The Latin name Sambucus refers to the small flutes (sambuca) that the Greeks carved from the soft wood of the elderberry.
- In infusion: pour the plant into simmering hot water and let infuse 3 to 5 minutes, according to your tastes, to fully release the flavors and benefits of the plant.
- In decoction: immerse the plant in water and bring everything to a boil for 10 to 20 minutes, then let infuse 10 to 15 minutes off the heat before filtering.
- In maceration: pour the plant in cold water for several hours then filter.
- Storage advice: Close the case well after each use.
