Modilac Expert Rice 2nd Age 6-12 Months 800g is a Food For Special Medical Purposes. Its unique formula based on hydrolyzed rice proteins is developed without cow?s milk protein and lactose-free to meet the nutritional needs of infants from 6 to 12 months, in case of cow?s protein allergy, or lactose intolerance.
Modilac Expert Rice 2 contains DHA, in accordance with the infant formula regulations. Modillac has chosen to use a DHA of plant origin for its Expert Rice range.
The formulas of the Modilac Expert Rice range are manufactured in a factory designed to guarantee milk protein-free and lactose-free production. Each production is subject to more than 250 controls, beyond what is required by the regulations, to ensure optimal safety for your baby.

Reconstituted milk is a fragile medium that can quickly change. For your baby?s health, it is important to follow the following preparation instructions.
- Before opening the box, keep it away from heat.
- Before preparing the bottle, wash your hands thoroughly
- Prepare the bottle just before the meal. Once prepared, it is recommended to consume it within an hour.
- Discard the rest of an unfinished bottle, do not reuse it.
- After opening, the box can be kept up to 4 weeks, well closed, in a cool and dry place.
Bottle preparation:
- Carefully clean and sterilize the bottle, cap and teat. Pour in the bottle the necessary amount of water. Use low mineralized bottled water. For better reconstitution, water should be lukewarm (about 40-45°C) before adding powder.
- Fill the measuring stick in the box with powder, then set it on the edge of the box.
- Add the corresponding number of powder scoops in the water, respecting the proportion: 1 scoop in 30 ml of water.
- Close the bottle and, to facilitate dissolution, roll it between your hands and shake it vigorously. Before giving the bottle, control the temperature of infant milk by pouring a few drops on your wrist.

Follow the advice of your doctor or pharmacist for the use of an infant formula and before initiating food diversification, including before the age of 6 months, and especially for the introduction of potentially allergenic foods.
