Vitaflor Orange Leaves 50g is a bulk infusion of Orange leaves (Citrus aurantium var.amara L).
Native to regions of Asia, the orange tree is cultivated in all tropical and subtropical zones. The essence called "neroli" is produced from the flowers, and the essence called "petitgrain" is made from the leaves and young shoots of the orange tree. These two distillates are widely used in perfumery and pastry making.
- In infusion: pour the plant into simmering hot water and let infuse 3 to 5 minutes, according to your tastes, to fully release the flavors and benefits of the plant.
- In decoction: immerse the plant in water and bring everything to a boil for 10 to 12 minutes off the heat before filtering.
- In maceration: pour the plant in cold water for several hours then filter.
- Storage advice: close the case well after each use.
