Advantix Big Dogs 40 to 60 kg 4 Pipettes is a treating and preventing care against infestations by fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and sand flies.
Fleas are killed within 24 hours after treatment. One single treatment prevents flea infestation for 4 weeks. The drug can be integrated in a therapeutic pogram against Fleas Allergy Dermatitis. (FAD).
The product has a miticide repulsive effectiveness, maintained for 4 weeks (Rhipicaphalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus) and 3 weeks (Derlacentor reticulata). Ticks that are already on the dog at the moment of treatment may not be killed during the two days following the administration of treatment and may remain attached and visible. Thus, it is recommended to remove the ticks present during the application of treatment to prevent their attachment and taking a blood meal.
A single treatment provides a repulsive activity (anti-engorgement) against sand flies for 2-3 weeks, against mosquitoes for 2-4 weeks and against stable flies for 4 weeks.
Remove a pipette and hold upright.
Open the pipette by unscrewing the cap. Use the cap upside down to screw and perforate the orifice of the pipette.
Spread the hair of the animal at the base of the neck until skin is visible. Place the tip to the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.
Application to the base of neck helps prevent licking. Make sure that animals do not lick each other after treatment. If it happens, hyper-salivation may occur, temporary and nonserious.
Do not use on cats. Follow the instructions.
