Description

Braun No Touch + Touch Thermometer BNT 400 is a frontal infrared thermometer that allows to catch the temperature without being in contact with the skin. This thermometer can also catch the temperature with contact on the forehead and is thus suitable for the whole family.

Innovative, it precisely indicates the location and the distance of temperature measurement by its system of guidance of the positioning. Practical, its LCD screen is back lit allowing it to be used in the dark.

This thermometer benefits from the latest generation technology: by programming the age of the person on the Thermoscan, the display changes color with the Age Precision IRT6520 technology after catching the temperature to indicate the degree of fever.

Fast, the temperature is taken in just 2 seconds. Practical, the contactless thermometer keeps in memory the last 9 measurements. It also measures the temperature of food and bath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it is supposed to do I had tried other models but they all gave not accurate temperature measurements. This is very convenient, it measures quickly and it is reliable in the measurement, at least the error is contained. Must have when you have small kids around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect thermometer for the whole family [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this thermometer just as the eldest child brought home the first of the seasons nursery bugs. With two adults, a 3 year old and a newborn in the house we had plenty of time to put it to the test. Initially it was used alongside our traditional stick thermometer and gave approximately the same readings each time. However, with young children it was so much easier to use and the thermometer gives a reading so very quickly, especially useful when you have a screaming baby to contend with. It didn't take long to start making use of it for other purposes, such as checking the temperature of baby's bath water. Again we did this alongside our traditional methods and found it very accurate. On the plus side even our 3 year old has been able to use this correctly to take her own temperature. Would highly recommend this product.

However, every time I use it I get different results and even very inaccurate ones when testing it on myself (for example I had lots of readings of 32°C where my temp is around 36°C. Had to switch to a normal thermometer to have accurate readings. Being conscious of the price of this item I cannot recommend it unfortunately. If I have purchased it I would return it because of the inaccuracy. Now I could be devil’s advocate and say that maybe mine is defective? If it is, then this is amazing. The one cool feature I like is that you could use it to take the temp of bath water and even food! Also the choice between no contact or contact is great too and the silent mode is a life saver. Now if only it took accurate readings throughout..

I’ve always worried that the under tongue/armpit thermometers weren’t that accurate but you know this is. I’d definitely recommend, it’s great for parents and putting your mind at ease.
