Description

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+M 40ml is a triple-correction anti-imperfection treatment recommended for severe and recurring blemishes, blackheads and post-acne marks.
Its formula acts against the predominant bacteria at the root of acne:

  • helps soothe and reduce blemishes
  • moisturizes the skin,
  • helps prevent the appearance of red and brown marks,
  • promotes skin regeneration,
  • it helps restore the skin's balance over the long term.

Anti-relapse, it maintains the benefits of anti-acne treatment, even 3 months after discontinuation.

Its moisturizing, mattifying gel-cream texture is an excellent make-up base.
Non-greasy finish. Non-comedogenic.

Tested on acne-prone skin, even on severe blemishes.

Directions for use

Apply morning and/or evening to cleansed face.
Avoid the eye contour area.

Use alone or in conjunction with anti-acne medication.

What I didn’t like was the pilling, it can be frustrating when it doesn’t sit well with other products especially make up and sunscreen and, the smell wasn’t my favorite. However, I really loved how lightweight it feels on the skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel greasy at all, making it easy to use in both morning and night routines. Most importantly, it didn’t break me out, which makes it reliable for daily use. Price-wise, it sits in that mid-range skincare category, not cheap, but still accessible, and a little goes a long way.
