3M Cavilon Cutaneous Protection Film Spray 28ml
3M Cavilon Cutaneous Protection Film Spray 28ml is a non-irritating protective film, of long duration with alcohol free and based on terpolymer.
It forms a transparent and breathable protection on the skin to protect it from friction, adhesive-related damage and bodily fluids (such as urine and/or feces as well as wound exudates):
- Does not irritate, even on injured or irritated skin.
- Does not clog the liner of incontinence diapers.
- Economical, protects the skin for up to 72 hours.
- Transparent, for easy monitoring of the skin.
- Compatible with skin prep solutions (e.g. chlorhexidine gluconate and povidone iodine).
- Allows good adhesion of plasters, dressings and devices.
- Allows the transmission of moist vapor from the skin.
- No need to remove it between each application.
Latex free.
Caution: This product is flammable and cannot be shipped by all of our couriers. It is essential to refer to the instructions provided before use.
Must not be used:
- As the only protection in situations requiring the application of a protective dressing against contamination or bacterial penetration, for example on sites of intravenous insertion of catheters or deep wounds.
- On infected skin areas.
Highly flammable until completely dry on skin and vapors have dissipated. Allow product to dry at least 90 seconds before using any device that may provide a source of heat or ignition, this allows fluid to dry and vapors to dissipate. Do not use near fire or flame, heat, sparks or sources of static discharge.
Do not use near ignition sources or heat producing devices. Use in a well-ventilated area. Disposable sprayer, for use on a single patient. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if redness or other signs of irritation occur. If the problem persists, consult a doctor.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
The use of other protective products, ointments, creams or lotions may significantly reduce the effectiveness of this product.
