Description

Avène Cicalfate+ Scar Gel 40 ml is designed to improve the appearance of scars, whether recent, old, or hypertrophic.

Its concentrated formula with 25% Dermo-Silicone Complex combined with a pro-massage gel texture helps to smooth, refine, and even out the appearance of scars when used with regular massage.
The appearance of scars can be visibly improved, acting on their thickness, texture, and pigmentation.
This gel is suitable for post-surgical or post-dermatological scars, on the face and body.
Its formula provides a long-lasting soothing effect, with a non-greasy, non-sticky texture and a soft, invisible finish on the skin.

Fragrance-free.

Made in France.

Directions for use

Use twice a day on clean, dry scars by massaging gently.
Apply locally on re-epidermized skin.
For external use only.

Avoid contact with the eyes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this Avène Cicalfate+ Remodeling Scar Gel fo some time now and I’ve got to say it’s made a difference to my large scar. The gel is thick in consistency but glides and adsorbs well. It is non scented and comes in a 40ml tube with a small nozzle which works really well when applying to my skin. I’ve noticed over time that the redness has disappeared and my scar is less visible and smoother. My skin looks, soft, shiny, replenished and hydrated. You don’t need to use too much product as a little goes a long way. I’m going to keep using it and see if it improves further. Overall a great product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good targeted moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fairly recently gained some scarring on my legs from mosquito bites on holiday in the Caribbean so I loved the chance to try out something that could help get rid. Unfortunately I didn't find this to be a wonder product. After daily use, I didn't find the scars to have dulled any more than scars have previously just with a good moisturiser. However, thinking of this gel as a targeted moisturiser, it was a good product that blended well, dried quickly, and left my skin feeling great. I would buy it again at the right price with this in mind.

Application is very simple , consistency is a thick cream. Appearance is great as it highly improved the visibility of my scars. Storage is easy and the packaging means no spills. Value for money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Avene scar gel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not really a fan and have used better creams for scars..don’t seem to do very much. used on my daughters fresh scar/cut she had on her hand and didn’t really notice a difference in healing any quicker with this than not using anything..no scent really which is good..texture is a bit funny like vaseline i’d say. Packing sleek and aesthetically clean looking but quite expensive so i wont be going on to purchasing any..No hate on Avene they have some other great skincare products

It comes in an easy open tube, and only a small amount is required. It is rich and creamy and blends into the skin well and is perfect for use any time even before applying make-up. I prefer to use it at night. I have definitely noticed a difference in the appearance of scaring that I have.
