Description

Avène Mineral Fluid SPF50+ 40ml is a very high protection sun fluid, specially formulated for sensitive, fragile skin, skin intolerant to chemical filters and perfumes.
It offers very wide protection against the UV spectrum thanks to its exclusive combination of active ingredients:

  • Stable and effective photoprotective complex over time.
  • Pre-tocopheryl: powerful antioxidant.
  • Avène thermal spring water for its soothing and anti-irritant properties.

Its light texture penetrates easily and offers a matte finish.
Sensitive and / or intolerant skin is protected and hydrated.

Developed to minimize the risk of allergic reaction.
Non-comedogenic. Very water resistant.
Without perfume.

Made in France.

Directions for use

Before any sun exposure, apply 1 finger of mineral fluid to the face and neck of an adult.
Reapply frequently to maintain protection, especially after sweating, swimming or drying yourself.

Do not stay too long in the sun, even when using sunscreen. Overuse of the sun is dangerous. Avoid exposure to the sun between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Do not expose babies and young children to direct sunlight, use clothing protection (wide-brimmed hat, glasses, T-shirts, etc.).

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Indication: Sensitive intolerant skins. Adults.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sensitive skin friendly but strong white cast unavoidable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not overly taken with this one personally but I think it would be good for the right person. I like the bottle - it’s perfect travel/handbag size and mess free application. It hasn’t irritated my skin which is a plus as a sensitive skin girly - it feels quite nice and gentle when it’s on my face. However as someone with dry skin I find it too drying, so may be good for oily skin.. It also leaves a white cast as it’s a mineral sunscreen - great if you wanna see where you’ve applied and missed etc but it’s very visable. I think this would work well under makeup as I think the texture and dryer formula would help foundation adhere quite well, but personally on its own it’s not one I’d reach for first. Tbh I could get on board with most of it if it wasn’t for the white cast, I don’t vibe with that :( This is a product I was sent for free to try and review.

The product was difficult to absorb and left a noticeable white cast across my face, particularly around my hairline and on drier areas. It has very little scent, which I liked, and it didn't sting or irritate my sensitive skin. However, the finish felt heavy and made my skin look dry and chalky rather than giving a natural finish. Although it offers excellent SPF50+ mineral protection, I found the white residue made it difficult to wear on its own or under makeup.

It boasts a high SPF50+ with excellent UVA/UVB coverage, ensuring your skin is fully shielded throughout the day. The lightweight formula feels comfortable and dries down to a matte finish, keeping shine at bay. It’s an absolute must-have for oily skin, and it even doubles as a fantastic primer. It creates a smooth base so foundation and concealer that glide on effortlessly and stays put all day without any piling or separation. Just a heads up, it does have a white cast, so blending it into your skin and giving it a moment before applying makeup is a good idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Formula that protects you against heat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin and I love this product is gentil, the mineral formula feels comfortable, absorbs well but slowly, provides spf 50+ which I always look for that when I buy or use any sun protection. With small quantities of product you can apply in the face and protect it. But the finish of this sunscreen leaves the face a bit white so have that in consideration if you don’t like this or buy the one with colour. Highly recommended and I love every product of this brand because always helps with sensitive skin and good quality

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Sunscreen with High Protection [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been testing the Avène Mineral Fluid SPF50+ and found it to be a good everyday sunscreen. The bottle is compact and travel friendly, it’s easy to carry in a bag. The formula itself is creamy but also very fluid and lightweight, so it spreads easily across the skin. It's also gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. The only downside I noticed is that it can leave a white cast. When I applied it to my face, it left my skin with a pinky/white colour. But I also found that using it with a moisturiser helped it blend in better. Overall, it's a lightweight sunscreen that's great for sensitive skin, but the white cast may be an issue for some people. Despite this, I still think it's worth using. Sunscreen is very important, and this product provides good protection as it’s SPF50+.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finding sun protection that doesn’t trigger my eczema is always a challenge however this is brilliant because it is fragrance free. It calms my skin instead of causing further irritation. The only minor downside is that it doesn’t blend in quite as seamlessly as traditional chemical sunscreens.
