Description

CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum 30ml is a care developed to reduce the appearance of post-imperfections marks and tighten the pores. It helps to restore the protective barrier of the skin and improves the skin texture.

Its formula associates:

  • Encapsulated Retinol that helps to smooth the skin texture, exfoliated and accelerates the cell renewal without irritating.
  • Licorice root extract that brightens, smoothes skin texture and reduces signs of hyperpigmentation.
  • Niacinamide which gently soothes the skin, helps reduce feelings of irritation and reduces redness.
  • Hyaluronic acid that helps maintain hydration.
  • 3 essential ceramides (1, 3, 6-II) that help restore the skin barrier.
  • MVE Technology, a patented technology that continuously releases hydrating ingredients all day.

Its gel-cream texture rapidly penetrates in the skin for a non-oily and non-sticky finish on the skin.

Directions for use

Apply evenly to the face using light circular movements.
Apply in the evening, or use a sunscreen (SPF treatment) for daytime use. This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which may increase the skin's sensitivity to sun exposure.

Avoid direct contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
In case of discomfort during the first application, space the applications until the skin adjusts.

Indication: Face care. Adult and adolescent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only thing that's helped my skin I have suffered with combination skin, persistent recurring spots and resulting hyperpigmentation for years. I tried prescription strength retinol which stung my skin and ruined my skin barrier. I have tried BHAs, AHAs, blackhead scrubs, masks, a load of different serums. Nothing I have used before has actually worked. I swear to god this is the only thing that keeps my spots at bay. I use it most evenings, and when I wake up, my skin isn't as oily as a chip pan (like it usually is), I hardly ever get spots, and I feel like my hyperpigmentation is fading. I feel more comfortable not wearing foundation now, which is a massive thing for me. This serum is my go-to and I am going to be purchasing on repeat, so if you could please NOT DISCONTINUE.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for younger skin Made my acne worse, probably my fault as you should use it when os adult. This created more acne and scars wouldn’t recommend for teen skin and teen acne. More for adult acne scars and acne. Use wisely and not much so your skin may get used to it.

My skin appeared smoother, and some of the post-acne marks began to fade. The serum did not cause the intense irritation that can often accompany retinol, which is a significant plus for those with sensitive skin. I recommend starting with 2-3 times a week to allow your skin to acclimate, gradually increasing as your skin builds tolerance.
