Description
Christophe Robin Color Shield Shampoo 250 ml is a shampoo dedicated to color-treated, bleached or highlighted hair. This gentle shampoo has been specially formulated to preserve color intensity and shine for a lustrous, glossy finish, day after day.
Camu-camu oil nourishes hair for a soft, silky feel.
Pomelo extract, rich in malic acid, helps protect color from fading.
Natural phytosterols from crambe oil leave a protective veil on hair to maintain vibrant color.
Directions for use
On wet hair, emulsify well and rinse thoroughly.
Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly.
Indication: Shampoo. Colored, bleached and bleached hair.

Unpleasant scent
I purchased this shampoo while it was on offer and because I wanted one with colour protection, unfortunately I do find the smell unpleasant. The shampoo lathers well and I don’t doubt it will work well but I would not buy that particular range again. I much prefer the Hydrate range for the scent.

Smells Great - hard to rinse
I love the smell of this shampoo, however because I colour my hair which also has a tendancy to get greasy and prone to dandruff, it is hard to rinse. It makes my hair have a residue build up. Resulting in having to use the Christophe Robin Anti-Dandruff Shampoo (which defeats the object when having coloured hair).

Healthy Looking Hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trialling this shampoo for a couple of weeks, my hair is looking healthy and my colour has stayed fresh. My hair type is fine but the shampoo hasn't weighed it down at all and it feels really soft. The scent smells expensive, like a grapefruit/floral mix - it was lovely to lather it up and lasts on the hair after washing. It reminds me of when I get my hair done in a salon. I would definitely purchase this product again.

Wasn't sure at first but love it
When I first opened and tried this shampoo I wasn't sure about it at all. Firstly, it has a very herbal sort of smell. It's not offensive but it's not my preferred scent in a shampoo. When I used it on my hair, it almost made it feel too clean, I thought I was going to end up with a dry tangled mess- my hair felt very different after using it. Happily, that wasn't the case at all and after a blow dry my hair was lovely and soft and shiny with no residual scent. I'm now a total convert, love the way his makes my hair feel and look. It feels soft and strong and clean. I can't speak so much to the color preserving properties because my color is very old and washed out at the moment but regardless I am very happy with this shampoo paired with the conditioner mask. It makes me almost butt length hair look lovely and even with my length it lasts ages because you only need a tiny amount. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this brand and will repurchase when these are used up.

Compliments thick, dehydrated, coloured hair very well.
Overall, this is a really nice shampoo for leaving the hair feeling not just clean but also moisturised. I have thick, coloured hair which is dehydrated. This compliments my hair very well. I do however wish it foamed a little more as I need to use a lot of product to clean down to the roots.

Hair like silk
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to the lockdown, I had to wait some time to try this product but it was worth the wait!! It smells lovely (hence I was looking forward to using it!) and having coloured hair, I am always on the lookout for a product which prolongs my colour, while still nourishing my hair. If I am honest, I have always been quite happy with (and always seem to go back to) a particular brand, so was hoping this shampoo would be as good. It didn't disappoint! My hair was so silky smooth after using the Christophe Robin shampoo and that silliness actually lasted four days (I don't use products in my hair - just heat protecting spray) so I was impressed with that. As I already said, it smells lovely too and that stuck with me for the whole day. If I had to fault the product, the only thing I would say is that I had to use quite a lot of it to get a good larger. To be fair, my hair is quite thick, although above shoulder length so not too long, but I still needed to use two applications to make sure my hair was clean. Give the price of the product, (although I received it free as a sample to review), I would have preferred to have used a smaller amount to get the same effect. That said, the way my hair felt afterwards really did make up for that. I had my hair coloured three weeks ago and have used the Christophe Robin shampoo exclusively since then, so I could gauge whether it improves how my colour holds and I have to say my colour looks great. It hasn't faded and aside from my roots now starting to come through (something not even the best shampoo in the world can prevent) my colour looks as great as the day my stylist did it. So, on that front, the shampoo seems to do as it says on the bottle! Overall, I would recommend Christophe Robin Colour Shield Shampoo for coloured hair. If you don't mind doing two applications and want (very!) silky hair which holds its colour, then this shampoo will do the trick.

Fresh hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this shampoo a few times now since receiving it as part of a promotion. It has a lovely fresh and clean scent, it lathers up nicely and my hair feels fresh and clean afterwards. I feel it has helped keep my coloured hair shiny and smooth.
