Coalgan Stop Bleeding and Healing Powder 8 g quickly stops bleeding and promotes healing of superficial skin wounds: abrasions, cuts or hard-to-reach areas.
Formulated with calcium alginate derived from seaweed, it releases calcium directly into the wound, stimulating the formation of a stable clot and the proper functioning of cells involved in healing.
By keeping the wound in a moist environment, it accelerates the natural healing process.
This powder is also suitable for oozing rashes (diaper rash, chicken pox pimples, navel after cord fall).
Its non-contact application is ideal for children, and it's suitable for the whole family.
Clean the wound with soap and water or saline solution (0.9% NaCl).
Do not remove the powder from the wound: it will be eliminated naturally.
Cover the wound with a dressing if necessary.
Use until wound healing is complete.
Suitable for infants, children and adults (including pregnant women and people with coagulation problems).
If bleeding persists for about ten minutes after application and compression of the wound, consult a doctor.
If there is any sign of infection (redness, heat or swelling around the wound, oozing of a green or yellow liquid), fever or doubt, ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice.
If you have previously used an antiseptic based on sodium hypochlorite, chlorhexidine, benzalkonium chloride or copper salts, rinse thoroughly with physiological saline (0.9% NaCl) before use.
100% Calcium Alginate Powder (from marine algae).
