Frontline Spray 250ml is a solution for cutaneous application, for fipronl-sensitive parasites in dogs and cats over 5kg.
It allows:
- Dogs:
- prevention and treatment of infections fleas and ticks,
- elimination of biting lice.
- The duration of effectiveness against new flea infestations varies from 60 to 90 days.
- The duration of effectiveness against new tick infestations is approximately 30 days.
- Cats:
- prevention and treatment of infections fleas and ticks,
- elimination of biting lice.
- The duration of effectiveness against new flea infestations varies from 40 days.
- The duration of effectiveness against new tick infestations is approximately 2 weeks.
The drug can be integrated into a therapeutic program for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (DAPP).

- As with all insecticides, it is recommended to wear gloves and treat animals in a well-ventilated area.
- The basic dosage is 3 ml of solution per kg (i.e. 2 pump pressures per kg). This dosage can be increased up to 6 ml of solution per kg (4 pump pressures per kg) to take into account the length of the hairs and allow complete impregnation of the animal.
- Unblock the sprayer: Press the button located on the body of the dosing pump and at the same time turn the cup in the direction of the arrow.
- Slightly turn the cup in the direction of the arrow to obtain a mist.
- Turn the cup even further to obtain a fine jet. This allows you to treat small areas requiring a precise jet such as the ends of the legs. Do not breathe the product.
- Spray over the entire surface of the body, keeping the bottle vertical at about 10-20 cm.
- Apply against the hair, taking care to cover the entire animal in order to evenly wet the coat.
- Make the product penetrate to the skin. Leave to dry without wiping.
- Do not smoke, drink or eat while applying the product.
- Do not bathe or wash the animals with shampoo during the 2 days preceding and following the application of the product.
Do not use in sick animals (systemic diseases, fever...) or convalescents.
Do not use in rabbits, as sometimes lethal side effects may occur.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Side effects :
In case of licking, a brief period of hypersalivation due to the nature of the excipient can be observed.
Among the extremely rarely suspected side effects, transient skin reactions, erythema, pruritus or alopecia have been reported after use.
Exceptionally, hypersalivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hyperesthesia, depression, nervous symptoms), vomiting or respiratory symptoms have been observed after use. The observed effects are likely to be more severe in puppies less than 6 months old.
Do not overdose. The risk of causing side effects may increase in the event of an overdose. In case of overdose, apply appropriate symptomatic treatment.
Very flammable. Keep away from any flame or source of heat.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
