Gibaud Elbowgib Elbow Brace is an orthosis in the form of a brace to wear in case of pain related to lateral epicondylitis, or during daily activities which solicit the elbow (sport, work, leisure...).
The patented double curvature semi-rigid structure is designed to avoid the tourniquet effect and the two non-slip silicone compression pads contribute to pain relief.
The non-elastic strap allows the bracelet to be tightened in a firm but comfortable way.
To find out its size, just measure the circumference of the forearm 2 cm from the elbow with a tape measure:
- Size 1: 22-26cm
- Size 2: 27-32cm
- Size 3: 33-38cm
For the placement and maintenance of the elbow orthosis:
- Put the orthosis on the arm. The pads should be placed at the level of the painful tendons (just below the elbow).
- Tighten with the passer-by so as to obtain a firm but comfortable hold.
Contraindication :
Any pathology requiring orthopedic treatment by plaster, resin or surgery.
The orthosis should not be put in direct contact with a skin lesion.
Keep the orthosis away from excessive heat.
Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum 40 °).
Dry flat away from excessive heat.
