Description

Hill's Digestive Care i/d Chicken 1.5kg is a highly digestible dietary food.

This food, enriched with sodium and potassium, contains highly digestible ingredients specially formulated to reduce the risk of intestinal malabsorption, compensate for digestive disorders and support cats suffering from exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

Its particularly palatable recipe helps restore lost nutrients, promotes optimal digestion and helps improve stool quality.
In addition, this product contributes to the recovery of the cat's overall tone and well-being.

Directions for use

Feed this food only.
It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use.
Meets the specific nutritional needs of kittens and adult cats.
Adjust the ration to maintain optimal weight; this can be divided into two or more daily meals.
Recommended duration of use: initially up to 12 weeks, and for life in case of chronic pancreatic insufficiency.
Keep fresh water available.

Bags must be stored in a cool, dry place.
Store away from moisture.

Highly digestible ingredients: Dehydrated chicken and turkey protein, brewers' rice, maize, animal fats, maize gluten meal, dried whole eggs. ActivBiome+ prebiotic blend (4 %): Ground pecan nut shells, dried beet pulp, flaxseed, dried citrus pulp, dried cranberries.

My cat accepted the food immediately, doing really well on it, no flare ups. The feeding guide is very helpful and straightforward, especially when you need to calculate the amount of dry/wet food requirements per day. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helped reduce cats diarrhoea [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this in conjunction with the Hills digestive wet food stew and it helped the cats poo to take an actual soft poo form rather than a liquid diarrhoea it had been and that is a bonus especially when the cat didn’t make it to the litter tray on time! We previously used a different digestive care kibble and our cat has taken to this well. Easy bite size kibble which she and our other cat eat and unlike one of the other brands of digestive care we have tried which is donut shaped we found she tends to also regurgitate this one less. It has served its purpose of reducing the cats liquid poo and the bonus of the cat actually eating it as well!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Made my boys poorly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this product made my 2 cats really poorly. My 13yo with acid reflux ate 1 portion and suffered with an upset stomach. My 2yo with no health issues ate 1 portion and vomited a total of 6 times. 4 days later and my 2yo still hasn't been able to keep any food down, except a small piece of ham and some yoghurt treats. I wouldn't personally recommend the product, especially after our hefty vet bill to have him checked over.

We tried hills digestive car and she accepted from the first moment,her cramps are almost gone and she has no diarrhoea anymore. Highly recommend I received this product for free as part of a Home Tester Club product test.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Premium dry food with healthy benefits [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hill’s Prescription Diet Dry Food with Chicken has revolutionised my cat’s gut health and feeding routine. She absolutely loves the taste evident from her eating whole portions rather than grazing throughout the day as she had done previous - this makes feeding her more regimented and easier to manage. The food itself seems to have regulated her bowels so she now defecates more regularly with less fluctuation and with normal consistency. She no longer seems to suffer from bouts of diarrhoea and she seems happier in herself with more energy
