The new model was a complete disappointment. It simply isn't effective and requires repeated attempts to get a mediocre result. Not what I expect from Philips.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Phippster from Not Fit For Purpose I've recently purchased this Philips replacement model - For nose hair trimming, it simply does not get close enough to the skin to do the job it is supposed to. Crucially, the old thin angled head design was FIT FOR PURPOSE, i.e., it trimmed nose hair sufficiently such that it was NO LONGER PLAINLY VISIBLE.

All it does it comb them over, it literally does not cut my eyebrow hairs unless you target individual hairs, pull them tight and then trim else it just does nothing but comb.
