The normal average temperature varies according to the site of catch (37°C for the rectal temperature, 36,6°C for the oral temperature, 36,1°C for the temperature axillaire.
To wash the probe in tepid soapy water. To disinfect with a cotton soaked with alcohol.
Precautions for use:
Not to use in the event of important lesions affecting the site of catch.
Not to use on a very agitated subject.
Not to use in the ear.
Not to use for nonbody temperature measurements.
