Description

Avène Hyaluron Activ Procedure Hexapeptide Tensor Serum Solution 20 ml corrects wrinkles, loss of volume, lack of firmness, dullness and unevenness of complexion.

Its formula combines three active ingredients recognized in aesthetic dermatology:

  • Hexapeptide 10%: inspired by the mechanism of botulinum injections, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
  • Niacinamide 6%: stimulates cells and prolongs their vitality.
  • Hyaluronic acid 1%: moisturizes, smoothes and plumps skin.

Its lightly gelled, non-sticky texture is rapidly absorbed.
This reconstitutable serum releases the active ingredient at the last moment for optimum efficacy, while providing complete anti-aging care for everyday use.

Made in France.

Directions for use

- Break open the 2 ml ampoule containing the hexapeptide solution.
- Pour the active ingredient into the glass vial.
- Shake the bottle until homogeneous.
- Replace cap with tip supplied.

Apply 2 or 3 drops to the entire face, morning and evening, alone or in addition to your usual routine.
Do not use the 2 solutions separately; the mixture must be reconstituted.

This product can be used on its own or in conjunction with a cosmetic procedure after re-epidermalization.

Do not swallow.
Discard bottle 30 days after opening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two week skin tightening serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this serum comes as a mini chemistry set and you will be required to mix some solutions, break vials and keep an eye on the 30 day expiry date. The serum is a simple but effective product if you want to improve your skin over 14 days. It has a light texture and absorbs quickly without being sticky. After regular use twice a day for 14 days I noticed some changes in my skin. It feels more hydrated, smoother and firmer, although results are gradual and I might not have noticed unless my before and after pics. Overall, effective, a bit costly for the amount but worth considering.

It comes as a two part system that you mix before you, which makes it feel fresh and more targeted. What I like most is how effective the ingredients are. It contains hyaluronic acid which helps deeply hydrate and plump the skin, niacinamide which supports the skin barrier and improves overall tone, and peptide which helps smooth the appearance of fine lines. The texture is lightweight and absorbed quickly without feeling sticky, which makes it comfortable to use. After using constantly my skin looks smoother, more refreshed and noticeably more hydrated. Another positive is that it is designed as a short treatment, which makes it feel like a skin boost rather than a long term commitment. Overall, it is a targeted treatment that leaves a skin looking smoother, plumper and more radiant.

Its is a nice serum soaks in well but feels slightly sticky on the skin for a little while after applying. I wont be using this again. Its average at best, good for moisture but doesn't help with fine lines.

It left my skin glowing and radiant, and my expression lines almost disappeared. My skin has become smoother and has a lift . Application is so easy and takes a minute to apply, so it fits into my usual routine . Packaging has got 3 pieces, and it's very important to mix the solution and give a good mix and replace it with the applicator tip. It only requires 2 to 3 drops in the morning and evening, and it will last you enough for up to 2 weeks . I would expect it to last at least 30 days considering the price, but it definitely worked its magic in just over 2 weeks already.

It’s difficult for the product to come out and the nozzle needs to be pressed but once u get it its ok to get the right amount of serum out. It was a 14 day trial and just enough serum for the days. I have attached the before and after pictures and there isn’t much a difference as the product claims. I have not seen any changes around my smile lines.

Firstly, you have to mix it up when you revieve it so the product is fresh. I did feel like a mad scientist and it is a bit fiddly. However, it only took a moment. I applied it mostly on my forehead and smile lines as these are more pronounced on me. It immediately dried down and had a tightening feel. It is a fluid gel, so it almost felt like it 'filled' the lines. It left a lovely smooth base for make up/other products. It definitely works although it is temporary rather than a permanent fix My main critique is the terrible applicator. It is almost impossible to get the product out. In the end, I had to take it off.
