Description

CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum 30 ml is a targeted treatment designed to reduce the first signs of aging.

This serum combines encapsulated retinol, 3 essential ceramides and MVE technology to smooth fine lines and wrinkles while hydrating skin for up to 24 hours and reinforcing the cutaneous barrier.
Its hyaluronic acid-enriched formula helps to visibly improve skin quality.
Day after day, the complexion looks more even, the skin smoother, firmer and more radiant, with pores tightened.

Its light, non-greasy, non-sticky texture is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Non-comedogenic.

Fragrance-free.

Made in France.

Directions for use

Apply daily in the evening to face and neck.

Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids and lips.
In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
If a sensation of discomfort appears, space out applications until the skin becomes accustomed to them.
Contains vitamin A, so check your daily intake before use.

Avoid excessive sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning.
Do not use on damaged or irritated skin.

It is a milky serum, fairly thick in consistency. It sinks into the skin well and leaves my skin feeling really smooth and hydrated. It isn’t as strong as others I’ve tried, so doesn’t have an immediate noticeable impact on fine lines and wrinkles, but is a great introduction to retinol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum is a really good product for the price, even though 30ml is quite a small amount. I really like the texture and how easily it spreads on the skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave that sticky layer that so many serums from other brands tend to. Surprisingly, the scent is a pleasant bonus - for a CeraVe product, it’s actually quite nice, considering their products usually smell a bit medicinal to me. The packaging is very convenient to use, although I’m not completely sure whether too much product will end up stuck inside at the end, because of course I won’t be able to check once the serum runs out. Overall, a very nice serum and worth the price.

I have recurring acne (hormonal/stress/diet) so figured the Serum would help with this. I believe after the few weeks I have been using it, I'm currently in the purging stage. I will continue with the hope that the spots will die down and my skin will be replenished!

The bottle size is perfect to pop in your bag to apply whilst out and about. I unfortunately haven't seen any visible anti aging benefits of using the serum yet

The formula feels lightweight on the skin and absorbs nicely without irritation, which makes it perfect for beginners or anyone with sensitive skin. I love that it contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid, so it keeps my skin hydrated while the retinol works on smoothing fine lines and improving texture. It does help with skin pigmentation too but as most serums with retinol it requires SPF during day. I am really happy and would purchase it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Skin feels soft [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It definitely made my skin feel soft, although I haven’t noticed a great deal of difference in its appearance. Perhaps longer use might provide more noticeable results. It didn’t aggravate my sensitive skin, which was really good as I wasn’t sure if it would be too harsh. My only concern is that in very small writing it says that sunscreen should be applied daily whilst using this serum. I would prefer to see this warning more clearly marked. Perhaps this serum is not something I’d want to use regularly in the summer. Happy to use at this time of year when it’s not as sunny. I did make sure to apply sunscreen every morning. Would probably buy again - if after continued use the difference was noticeable.
