Description

Elastoplast Scar Reducer XL 21 Transparent Dressings are transparent self-adhesive dressings for the treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloid scars colored and thick.

They are designed especially for longer scars, such as surgical scars and caesarean section scars. Their triple effect flattens, lightens and softens the scars.

Easy to use, the dressing can be cut to the desired size. Flexible, it lets the skin breathe. It is suitable for recent and old scars.

Water resistant.
Suitable for sensitive skin.

Directions for use

Please read the enclosed manual before use.
Apply the bandage for at least 12 hours, day or night.
The duration of the treatment is approximately 8 weeks and may vary depending on the type of scar.

Its relatively easy to use and to remove, it didn't give any strange feeling, neither sensations. About working on scar colour, I think it could do more if scar wasnt cover by skin and fat excess

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wow such a difference [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was slightly sceptical of the plaster but i have used it for a few weeks now and the difference is amazing. The main thing i have found is it is no longer raised. Its really smoothed out the appearance. The colour is slightly lighter and im pretty certain it will only get lighter with continued use. Definetly will continue to use this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried the silicone gel sheets that are reusable (wash and leave to dry and re-use) and the silicone gel and nothing beats these silicone gel sheets. The fact they are use and throw away is a big plus for me - who really has the time or patience to wash and leave to dry?? The instructions says they are to be used for 24 hours but I have found they are water (shower) proof and remain sticky for 2-3 days. On the outset it might seem expensive 21 sheets = 21 days, but if you can cut to the size of your scar(s), they last much longer than 21 days. I've had surgery on my wrist and cut to 3 pieces to go over the scar. Alongside massaging my scars daily, these silicone gel sheets are really helping my scars go soft and turn white coloured after 8 weeks post surgery.

But within a few times I applied to my C-section it has started to minimise the look of the scar! Even my family was so smazed! Not only it was completely Comfortable (and you can sleep or even take shower with it) but it also made softer and reduced the scar. I am still Carry on using it as it can take some time to take away the scar fully but I see it’s working, and I have faith it will all go away soon. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with such a problem as scars - it’ll help you same it does help me.
