Gibaud Knee Care Patella Knee Sleeve is a device intended to protect and maintain patella.
It is recommended in the event of knee pain, tendonitis, osteoarthritis or instability of the patella, or to resume your daily activities (sport, work, leisure,..). This knee sleeve protects the movement of your knee by restoring your sensations. Indeed, the compressive 3D textile restores your sensations by the proprioception (ability to feel the position of your body in space), while being soft and breathable for a second skin effect that protects your knee by letting the skin breathe. This knee brace is mixed, and of blue colour.
To allow proper use and give it all its effectiveness, it is important to choose the right size (measure, with a tape measure, around your knee at the level of the patella, in a semi-flexed position).

A fitting is mandatory for a correct adaptation and a good understanding of the installation. The first installation will be carried out by a healthcare professional and subsequently by the user or a person close to him according to the same protocol. During placement, the patella should be positioned in the center of the patellar ring, taking care to position the recess of the stabilization splint on the tibial tuberosity.
Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum 40 ° C), rinse thoroughly, wring gently.
The device contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions. The device should not be used if the injury requires partial or total immobilization or surgery. Users with medical conditions which restrict blood flow to the limbs (eg diabetes or peripheral vascular disease) should consult their physician before using the device. Do not wear for prolonged periods without medical supervision. This orthosis should not be placed in direct contact with a skin lesion. Device to be used on a single patient, not to be reused on several patients. If you have a problem, such as pain or local signs, remove the device and contact your healthcare professional.
Store away from excessive heat. Do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
