Gibaud Soin Cheville Red Ankle Pad is a device designed to protect your ankle and restore movement.
It is indicated in the event of sprain, slight sprain or functional instability, in the rehabilitation phase after an ankle trauma, or for your daily activities (sport, work, leisure, ...). This ankle pad protects the movement of your ankle by restoring your sensations. Indeed, the compressive 3D textile restores your sensations through proprioception (ability to feel the position of your body in space), while being soft and breathable for a second skin effect that protects your ankle by letting the skin breathe. This ankle pad is mixed.
To allow proper use and give it all its effectiveness, it is important to choose the correct size (measure, with a tape measure, around your ankle 2 cm above the malleolus):

A fitting is mandatory for a correct adaptation and a good understanding of the installation. The first installation will be carried out by a healthcare professional and subsequently by the user or a person close to him according to the same protocol.
The orthosis can be applied to the right or left ankle.
- The installation is carried out by putting on the ankle brace like a sock. The Gibaud logo must be located on the upper part of the ankle.
- Position the lower border (without logo) under the arch of the foot.
Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum 40 ° C), rinse thoroughly, wring gently.
The device contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions. The device should not be used if the injury requires partial or total immobilization or surgery. Do not wear for prolonged periods without medical supervision. This orthosis should not be placed in direct contact with a skin lesion. Device to be used on a single patient, not to be reused on several patients. If you have a problem, such as pain or local signs, remove the device and contact your healthcare professional.
Store away from excessive heat. Do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
