Gifrer Bébé Nasal Hygiene Routine

• Insert a new nasal tip into the baby nasal aspirator and follow the instructions for use noted on the aspirator box.
• Detach the nasal tip and throw it away after use.
• If the tip is full before complete suction of both nostrils, remove nasal secretions with a tissue by blowing into the tip or use a new tip.

The tip must be discarded after each use, to avoid any risk of new infections.

At the following dosages, use a 5 ml single dose:

• 1 to 3 times daily for daily hygiene.
• 2 to 6 times daily for 5 to 7 days for acute ENT pathologies such as colds, nasopharyngitis...
• 1 to 3 times daily (up to 3 months of use) for chronic ENT pathologies such as chronic rhinosinusitis, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis...

Ophthalmic wash:

Saline solution is intended for adults, children, and infants for washing:

• Eyelids and corner of the eye as part of daily hygiene.
• The eye in case of discomfort linked to the presence of dust.
• The eye as a complement to the treatment of conjunctivitis, according to your doctor's recommendations.

At the following dosages, use a 5 ml single dose:

• 1 to 2 times daily for daily hygiene.
• 1 to 2 times daily for a maximum of 5 days in case of conjunctivitis.
• 1 occasional wash to remove dust.

Instructions for use: opening the single dose:

1. Open the single dose by turning the plastic cap.
2. Press gently on the single dose to obtain the necessary dose.

Instructions for ophthalmic use:

For daily hygiene, clean using a sterile compress soaked in Saline Solution. For washing in case of conjunctivitis or discomfort, instill directly into the eye then wipe off using a sterile compress. Change compress for the other eye.

Precautions for use:

Before use, check the integrity of the single dose. If damaged, open, or punctured, do not use and discard immediately.
Single use, do not inject. Do not use the same single dose for several people or different uses. Do not keep the single dose after opening, discard it immediately after use. Reusing the single dose carries a risk that the solution may no longer be sterile. The saline solution should be used under medical advice in premature babies and people prone to severe dry eyes or reduced corneal sensation. If your doctor has prescribed a nasal or ophthalmic medication, use the saline solution before application and not after, to avoid eliminating it. Remove contact lenses before ophthalmic use, wait 10 minutes before putting them back on. Keep out of reach of children. Special attention must be paid to the plastic cap. Do not exceed the expiration date clearly mentioned on the packaging and the single dose. Single-dose containers to be stored away from heat and in the outer box.

Unwanted and bothersome effects: Rare sensations of irritation and discomfort are possible. In infants, instill the product into the nose with minimal pressure to avoid any risk of middle ear contamination.
