Description

SkinCeuticals Prevent C E Ferulic 30ml is a triple antioxidant high potency treatment with 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, 1% alpha-tocopherol and 0.5% ferulic acid.

Unique combination of antioxidant such as vitamins C and E and ferulic acid, this serum brings an optimal antioxidant efficiency to give a younger, smoother, and firmer aspect to the skin. It also protects the skin from external aggressions to prevent signs of premature aging, reducing the aspect of wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots, while stimulating the collagen production.

Rapidly absorbed, the serum is efficient during 72H. Fragrance-free.

Directions for use

In the morning, on clean skin, place 4-5 drops in the palm of the hand. Apply with fingertips to the entire face, neck and décolleté.

Indication: Anti-aging care.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge skincare fanatic and vitamin C is an important ingredient as part of AM routine. This vitamin C is at 15% and comes in a glass bottle and has an integrated dropper, which helps to control how much you use. I place 3 small drops into my palm and gently pat it into my face and decollate area. You can also massage it in, however I have found patting my skincare works well for me. As this is a water-based vitamin C serum, it is lightweight, provides moisture and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. I then follow with my moisturiser and SPF 50. Since using each day I have noticed my complexion looks brighter and my texture is more even. Overall, this is a fantastic Vit C serum to start with, if you are wanting brighter and even textured skin.

The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly and gives my skin a healthy glow without feeling greasy. After a few weeks, my complexion looked brighter, smoother and more even, with fine lines appearing softer. The smell is a little unusual at first, but the results made it worth it for me. I swapped my usual serum for this I'm that impressed by it.

It has restored radiance to my skin and makes me feel more confident, which is why it has been a staple in my skincare routine. Unfortunately, my most recent purchase was a disappointment. The serum I received appears completely different – it lacks the characteristic yellow color and scent, and its absorption into the skin is noticeably worse. The immediate effect I am used to is also missing. This has left me quite confused, as I have always trusted both the product and the pharmacy. The serum arrived in what appears to be original packaging, so I am unsure whether there has been a mix-up or if the product may not be authentic. I am waiting for a response regarding my complaint from the pharmacy where I have been purchasing this serum for many years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok for reactive skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a good sized sample which I have been able to trial over a number of weeks as a little goes a long way. I have sensitive skin so am always cautious about using a new product. To try this properly I used it on one side of my face for 3 weeks and my usual vitamin c on the other. This serum did not irritate my skin which is why I have given it 3 stars but neither did I see any visible difference in my skin. I saw no improvement or change and it did not brighten my skin at all. The serum is an expensive layout but judging from the tiny amount I actually used over a 3 week period, it would last a very long time. It is not something I am going to purchase for the reasons listed and I feel my current vitamin c serum makes my skin look healthier and brighter.
