Description

SkinCeuticals Protect Ultra Facial UV Defense Sunscreen SPF50+ 30ml is a moisturising lotion of broad spectrum against UVA/UVB.

This unique care acts as a shield against the range of UV rays known to cause accelerated ageing of the skin.

Formulated with UV filters of high-end, this high sun protection prevents degradation of collagen caused by UV.
Its ultra-light texture makes this protection very pleasant to apply.

Non comedogenic.

Made in France.

Directions for use

Apply the product just before sun exposure.
Frequently and generously renew the application to maintain the protection, also after bath, in case of perspiration or after wiping.

Do not expose babies and young children directly to sunlight.
Overuse of the sun is dangerous.
Do not stay in the sun too long even if you are using a sunscreen product as it does not give you 100% protection.

In case of eyes contact, rinse immediately and abundantly.

Indication: High sun protection. All skin types.

After trying multiple products, I finally found a sunscreen that doesn’t dry my skin or leaves it too greasy. Ultra Facial defence not only protects my skin but also serves as a treatment for my specific skin concerns.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible facial sunscreen I’m currently in Barbados on holiday and using the Ultra Facial UV Defense. I very seldom write reviews, and never on holiday, but this sunscreen is phenomenal. I have very pale Scottish skin that burns easily. I have gained a little colour, not much, but I have no redness even when having been on the beach for several hours. It’s expensive but a little goes a very long way. I’ve started to use it on my husband too as he was burning with a different factor 50 facial sunscreen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sun screen I was given this by a friend, who recommended it. I have to say I love it, its really protecting my skin when I put it on. It sinks into the skin easily and doesnt feel oily. Its a great sun screen with 50spf.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really Bad I’m really sorry but I can’t give this product even 2 starts. I currently use C E Ferulic and HA Intensifier, both of which I absolutely love. But this SPF really didn’t work for me. I bought 2 tubes of it and I’m incredibly disappointed in so many ways. On paper it was a perfect sunscreen with amazing reviews. First, it leaves you with a slight white cast and it’s much more visible on darker complexion of my husband, you can actually live with it if you mix this spf with a fluid bronzer, but for the price I pay I expect cosmetically elegant formula. Second, it is super shiny and greasy looking and you need powder each time you’re using it, it’s a bit sticky and peeling terribly under makeup (oil based face tint). And here comes the worst part: I’ve never used a sunscreen that would irritate my eyes so badly, it’s just painful, my eyes start getting red and I’m all in tears until I wash it off. My husband has a bit slighter reaction, but confirms it’s unusually itchy and therefore terrible for sport - it gets into eyes during runs trough sweat even when you deliberately avoid eye area. The best I could do is to make it a neck and chest sunscreen and then wash my hands twice, my husband just refused to use it. I had such high hopes for this and really wanted to love it. I am really cautious about trying any other Skinceuticals SPFs now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I prefer the old version of sunscreen I used skin ceuticals sunscreen for years. This new sunscreen version still have the same special light texture of the previous sunscreen version and it is more hydrating but unfortunately it is transparent which maybe good for most people but for me the old texture with white teint was great on my skin color and i used it instead of the foundation. Hope you keep on manufacturing the old version along with the new version so i don't switch to another product. Thank you
