Food Not Helping Anymore
My vet recommended z/d dry cat food for my elderly cat who has ibd However after being on it for about three years it is no longer making any difference to her stool consistency or the frequency that she passes them.

Yummy!
So far, I have bought this food three times as it was recommended by my vets. My cat likes this food and does not leave any behind to waste. I am scared she will get tired of it though as it is the only thing she can eat to to her allergies. I did try to switch things up a little for her with the wet food but she refused to eat it. I hope a form of cat treats and toppers can be introduced (with hydrolysed protein). I am very much open to recommendations!

My cat has IBD
My cat has IBD so he has very little choice in what he can eat. At first he preferred the sweet smelling Purina kibble, which he ate daily along with the Hills Z/D kibble. Now after 6 months he has decided to just eat the Hills Z/D. I have tried adding water or veg stock to turn it into a wet food but the smell of both kibbles wet is disgusting and he won't approach either.
The neighbourhood cats queue up to eat his food , should the back door be left ajar!

Sadly my cat does not like this
It comes in a pate form which is great as my cat hates really lumpy food She ate it at first while her old food was mixed in but is very reluctant to eat it alone and although I tried it with water (suggested by another owner); she is still reluctant and unfortunately has been sick again twice this week. The vet recommended this, unfortunately it has not solved her particular issues. Apparently she has inflamed intestines.

Helped my girl so much
My 4 year old rescue girl started suffering with sickness & severe constipation.
After a few vet visits/tests and a hospital visit with specialists she has been diagnosed with chronic intestinal disease. It was suggested she change over to this prescription diet. We went to wet food first as that is what she was eating previously and now have transitioned to the dry version which is less messy and she seems to enjoy!
Thank you so much - she is a different girl now. No more sickness or constipation and she has even gained a little weight again.

A life saver
We were looking to have our rescue cat put to sleep her skin was so bad. We had struggled for 2years with her, vet after vet creams and injections. We just thought it was cruel on her.
By chance we visited a new vets who put her straight on ZD. Wow were now 6yrs on and visit the vet about once a year. This really saved her life.
