Urgo Resistant Sterile Adhesive Dressings Large Size 10 x 7 cm 10 Dressings is a product designed to protect superficial wounds and low-exuding sutured wounds.
Thanks to its optimal protection, this dressing is an essential ally for complication-free healing.
Its format, available in 10 units, ensures coverage adapted to various types of wounds, thus facilitating the healing process.

In addition, its ability to limit the risk of infection creates optimal conditions for rapid and effective healing.

A wound or cut is defined as superficial when it only affects the skin and the immediately underlying fat.
If an accidental superficial wound is larger than 3 cm, it is recommended to consult a doctor within 6 hours of the accident, who will decide whether the wound needs to be sutured or treated (bonding with specific surgical glue).
Must be applied by an adult for those under 16 years of age.
Clean and disinfect the wound and its surrounding area with an antiseptic solution.
If necessary, perform hemostasis (stop the bleeding).
Rinse with sterile saline solution and dry with a sterile compress.
Open the sachet and take out the dressing.
Remove the first protective wing and position the dressing centered on the wound, avoiding touching the adhesive part with your fingers.
The wound must be completely covered by the compress (central part).
Apply the dressing by gradually peeling off the second wing and smoothing the edges.
Replace the dressing according to the instructions for use every 24 to 48 hours depending on the condition of the wound or dressing.
Sterile single-use dressing.
Do not reuse or reposition an already applied dressing (risk of infection).
Check the integrity of the sterility protector before use.
Do not use if the sachet is damaged.
Regularly monitor the wound and its surrounding area to detect any signs of infection such as pain, redness, swelling, odor, or suppuration.
In case of doubt, infection, foreign bodies in the wound, heavy bleeding, bite, sting/puncture with a sharp and/or soiled object, or if you do not notice any improvement in healing after 6 days, contact your doctor or nursing service.
Replace the dressing according to the instructions for use if the dressing is wet, otherwise this could cause infection or irritation.
The removal of the dressing can be performed if counter-pressure is simultaneously applied to the skin and/or around the wound.
The presence of hair or greasy products applied to the skin may impair adhesiveness.
Do not use on deep unsutured wounds, bleeding or highly exuding wounds.
Do not re-sterilize.
Do not use the dressings for more than 30 consecutive days.
Do not use after the expiration date (indicated on the sachet and on the box).
Keep the dressings in their original box.
