Bausch + Lomb ThermCool & Hot Kids 1 Gel Pack - Model: Dragon is a reusable gel-based thermal pack for hot or cold use according to your needs.
This gel pack can be kept in the freezer. With its fun design, it is suitable for children.
It combines the power of heat or cold therapy to relieve:
- Cold: Minor injuries, bumps, bruises, swellings.
- Hot: Minor injuries.
Contains one thermal pack (136 mm side) + 1 elastic strap.
Medical device.
Latex-free.
- Cold: Minor injuries, bumps, bruises, swellings.
1. Place the gel pack in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
2. Remove the gel pack from the freezer. Check that the temperature of the gel pack is comfortable, then apply the pack to the affected area.
3. After use, ideally store the gel pack at room temperature. It can also be stored in the freezer.
- Hot: Minor injuries. Microwave (500 W):
Ensure the gel pack is at room temperature before heating. Place the gel pack flat in the microwave. Heat at full power for 30 seconds (based on a 500 W microwave).
Carefully remove the gel pack from the microwave and check the desired temperature for your comfort. The temperature will continue to rise slightly.
If extra heat is desired, put the gel pack back in the microwave and heat for an additional 5 seconds, without exceeding a total of 40 seconds.
Monitor the gel pack during heating, as excessive heating can cause rupture, leakage, or burns from the gel pack.
1. Knead the gel pack well to distribute the heat evenly.
2. If the temperature is acceptable, apply the gel pack to the affected area. If the gel pack is too hot, remove it and reapply it when the temperature is acceptable.
3. If further heating is needed, follow steps 1 to 3 again.
4. Store at room temperature for future use in heat therapy. Do not apply hot therapy for more than 20 consecutive minutes.
